Prism Apartment

Modern Apartment Design with a Bold Geometric Elegance

Situated in Rotunda Dynasty, Warsaw’s only fully circular residential building, the Prism Apartment spans 144.5 square metres. The design operates through contrast. A warm beige base, interrupted by black-stained wood, a stone portal at the entrance to the living room, and a curvilinear floor inlay that moves through the hallway as a graphic statement.

Custom plaster stucco on the ceiling and in the hallway – patterned to order, finished in the tone of the wall – adds richness that reads as texture before it reads as ornament. The building’s circular form finds its echo throughout: rounded mouldings, arched mirror frames, softened door surrounds that hold the sharper contrasts in balance.

The living spaces are defined by bespoke joinery – mouldings and ornamental frames at every door and mirror, each one resolved differently. The wallpapered ceiling turns an overlooked plane into a surface of intention. Provisions for art were built into the structure from the outset: walls proportioned and framed before any work was selected. Most furniture was made to measure. The same attention carries into the private rooms.

The bathroom brings the apartment’s material language to its most refined point. Natural stone and Rabdecor mosaic share the surfaces – unified by softness, reinforced by rounded forms. A curved cabinet, a circular mirror, mosaic that follows the arc. The bathtub in warm beige occupies the room with quiet weight while the walk-in shower, with its backlit niches, recedes into the joinery beside it.

In the guest bedroom, a custom headboard is backed by a full-length mirror that quietly extends the space. A dressing table is integrated directly into the composition – its frosted, backlit circular mirror set within the joinery with the same precision found throughout the apartment. The remaining walls are finished in textured wallpaper. An open wardrobe with glass shelves at the entrance completes the suite.
