The dressing room opens directly onto the bedroom, its glass-front wardrobes finished with the same wood detailing found throughout the apartment. The bedrooms vary in mood but never in material: beige bedding, soft drapery, a round mirror catching the light in one room, a modern blue-toned painting holding the wall in another. In the master bedroom, a gypsum panel above the bed becomes the room’s centrepiece. Its surface is carved with a complex texture reminiscent of an iris, a mirror set at its centre, and can be lit along the perimeter for a soft, cozy glow. Lighting throughout is layered and intentional, built for evenings as much as mornings.
