Exclusive Interior Design for a Modern Premium Home with a Spectacular Outdoor Living Area

Architecture Defined by the View

Located in a peaceful corner of Warsaw’s Wilanów district, this luxury villa by Exterio is a masterclass in modern functionalism. Spanning nearly 550 m², the Terrace Residence draws its name and character from the expansive outdoor spaces that define its silhouette.

The Concept: Embracing the Horizon

 

The project’s greatest challenge was the plot’s unique orientation: the most stunning view of the surrounding greenery and ancient trees lay toward the street. To capture this, the architects stepped the building back, creating a front garden that blends seamlessly with the natural landscape. This clever layout allows the main living areas and master suite to face the most attractive scenery, while the entrance and garage are discreetly tucked away.

Architectural Dynamics

 

The building’s form is shaped by massive, horizontal white cornices that extend beyond the main volume. These planes serve as natural canopies for the balconies and terraces, creating a sharp contrast with the gray stone cladding. Warm wood accents on the ceilings and floors add a touch of organic elegance, while sliding louvered panels create a rhythmic play of light and shadow across the facade.

Light-Filled Living

 

The interior revolves around a soaring central hall topped with a glass roof, flooding the heart of the home with natural light.

 

Ground Floor: An open-plan living area featuring a double-height lounge and a dining space visually defined by a lowered ceiling.

 

First Floor: Divided into a private master suite and a dedicated children’s wing. A multifunctional space in the center serves as a playroom or home cinema.

 

Connectivity: Every bedroom enjoys access to a private terrace. The crowning jewel is the rooftop observation deck, accessible via a striking external staircase that adds a sculptural element to the building’s exterior.
